Our Heritage
From a young age, Casper Choa had an instinct for storytelling. As a child, he would imagine new adventures for his favorite movie and TV characters—stories that didn’t exist on-screen. But he wasn't only shaping new plots. He was also designing what the characters wore throughout their journeys to help bring those stories to life.
As he got older, Casper continued exploring his love for storytelling through filmmaking and scriptwriting. Over time, he realized that the most powerful stories weren’t just the ones on the silver screen—they were the ones people lived every day. And what people chose to wear could tell a story just as clearly as any scene or line of dialogue.
This realization led him to study fashion design in Los Angeles. As Casper developed his craft, the stories he once told through film began taking shape in a new medium, guided by his natural sensitivity to the unspoken impact of texture, silhouette, and color.
His instinct for storytelling eventually grew into a brand shaped by a simple understanding: fashion shapes how people see themselves—much like a costume helps an actor step into their role. At 24, Casper founded his namesake label, CASPER CHŌA, carrying forward that belief that a wardrobe can strengthen a person’s sense of identity.
